Steve Largent's recent visit with 101ESPN St. Louis produced a few interesting exchanges. Largent met new Seahawks coach Pete Carroll in Seattle recently. He called Carroll the right man to lead the organization. Largent also called the Seahawks' previous setup a disaster. "They've had two bad years in a row and I think it was their fault, to be honest with you," Largent said. "To have Mike Holmgren come back and announce before the season that he is not going to come back, that he was going to take kind of a swan-song year, I think it was a recipe for disaster right from the start. And it turned out to be exactly that. And then they bring in their defensive back coach who was the former head coach with the Falcons ... and he was really set up for disaster as well. He didn't have the opportunity to pick all of his coaches. He certainly didn't have the opportunity to pick the players he was playing with. He just never got off on the right foot in Seattle. Now they are trying to reset that clock and start over again and I think they have hired a guy that knows what he is doing." Largent also explained why he would rather catch passes from Peyton Manning than Brett Favre Attachments:

I heard from around the water coller that we might get big Ben. What are the facts in that? if we get Peyton or Favre it would still be a huge plus for us Period

Big Ben... nope won't happen... and the other two prob won't either, we have too many pieces of the puzzle to fix and we need to stay away from old ass free agents they need to get younger not older. I rather win straight for years then just one season and then rebuild again. Attachments:
